Can i lose weight Jumping rope, PLZ answer =(?
starting yesterday, i started jumping rope bout 500 times. During lunch, i wuld eat veggies and fruits and place of soda, i wuld drink water. I am 180 pounds and 5'6. I Wuld also eat salads alot. Do you think i culd lose weight bout 40 pounds by the end of summer which is like begining of September?
I was extremely overweight about two years ago. I decided to buy tae bo along with turbo jam. As I began to grow upset by not seeing results I came across my old jump rope that I used to use for training for basketball. I began at a decent pace. I jumped rope 1000 times in about 15 minutes doing intervals of 200. I must tell you that I incorporated it with my tae bo. So I was doing anywhere from 30-50 minutes of tae bo or turbo jam for toning and jumping rope for 15 for cardio. This is when I got the skinniest. I just kept increasing my intervals and as of today I can do about 2000 jump ropes non stop but usually do sets of 1000. In takes me about 45-60 minutes to do 30,000. It sounds insane but it's how I lost all of my weight. Again, I have to tell you that although I have gotten a lot thinner I always do more than just jump rope. For instance yesterday I jumped rope 30,000 times which took me 45 minutes but also did 30 minutes Core Express plus a 10 minute ab workout. It WORKS!!
I rotate from that and running. I jump rope/tae bo and then run 4 miles on the other days. Good Luck!!
